Tied to Blue (Split Blue Form)

Northampton
2010
Polypropylene

A temporary, experimental work exploring colour, structure and tension.  The structure was provided by a rigid metal framework, into which the blue strands (measuring a couple of miles in material length) were pulled and hand-tied into place, across over-lapping surface planes, creating great string-tension in the surface strength.

The work was designed to be entered, and the interior of the work was the focus.
